I’ve been setting up a test system that we want to through a few calls at so that FreePBX(Asterisk) can record the call. We can then pull the wav file back and check the quality.
So that we don’t need to have a number of devices connected up, I thought the easiest thing to do was setup an extension that nobody ever registers against, so will always be unavailable, this then with the “Not Reachable” option forwards the call to play an announcement and records the call. This is so we can have audio in both directions and we can check the quality.
Problem is, when we dial it, we always get a 203(Unreachable) back when it should complete the call to the announcement.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get round this?
