hi all,
my problem is i can’t login to my admin portal as i see a blank screen.
this is my output when i use this command

tail /var/log/httpd/error_log

[Thu Nov 25 05:44:30 2010] [error] [client 192.168.1.101] PHP Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘DB.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/html/admin/common/db_connect.php on line 14, referer: http://pbx.xxxx.xxx/

Please help me.

Dea sir,
Thanks a lot for your advices, i need your steps to protect my server from hacking.
also i need to know how to resolve my problem with freepbx login

Thanks for you my friend, my server is:

Linux CentOS 5.5
Asterisk 1.4
FreePBX 2.8

Everything was fine, as my server is running for about 2 years OK
i remember that i make some changes in my php.ini file as i get my upload_max_file higher than 10M, but i don’t make anything more.
Please help me to bypass that error as i find some new error when i try to enter to my “Voicemail & Recordings (ARI)”, i find a message appears in my brower "PHP PEAR must be installed. Visit http://pear.php.net for help with installation."
So, i think the problem is the same …
Waiting your help.

Your system has been exposed to the web for 2 years without any security?

If it was working and now it does not? Dependencies are missing?

Sounds to me like you have been hacked or maybe a drive is failing.

You have two pages of network certifications listed on your resume you linked two in your post including CCIE and JNCIS along with “extensive Linux Administration knowledge” you are far more qualified than I am. All of this expertise (including iptables you specifically list) and you don’t know how to secure your PBX???

How can we possibly know what you have done wrong? You did not tell us what you did.

Even if the database was not operating you still should be able to start FreePBX.

What flavor of Linux are you using? Did you follow the instructions for installing Asterisk and FreePBX.

I highly suggest you remove the link to your unsecured PBX from your post unless you want someone to hack you.
