Nonexistent user admin

hi,
every night i restart my pbx.
this morning freepbx couldn’t start:

[2023-08-07 05:23:30] NOTICE[8803] manager.c: 127.0.0.1 tried to authenticate with nonexistent user 'admin'
[2023-08-07 05:23:30] NOTICE[8803] manager.c: 127.0.0.1 failed to authenticate as 'admin'

i had to change my manager.conf manually. dies anypne know why this might happen?

Are you saying [admin] disappears from manager.conf every reboot? I was not aware it refreshed every reboot, but if FreePBX is rebuilding manager.conf every time, you might look at adding the credential to the MySQL database to resolve.

no. the planned reboot of the server or planned restart of asterisk happens several days a week via crontab or unattended upgrades. this is desired and usually works. this issue happened yesterday for the first time in the last couple of months.
