I had a new server recently that was dropping all calls when I noticed this, does anybody know what this means? Is it that this NIC is bad for VoIP or what?

My guess is that it means “don’t connect a phone jack in there even if it would, more or less, fit”…
A phone jack (RJ11) would fit in a network port (RJ45) but the end results of doing so could result in blowing up something (especially if you connect it in the phone line…).
As for NIC people tend to recommend Intel based ones (for just about anything) when performance is concerned. This card appears to be Realtek based…
