No SMS icon on Sangoma Desktop app

Sangoma Desktop phone app for Windows V4.0.2

I have SMS enabled for the user in FreePBX and in the Sangoma Connect settings. But I don’t see a SMS or chat icon in the Desktop app. Is that feature available for FreePBX users? Most of the info I came across while troubleshooting mentioned Switchvox only.
