after spending 3 configuring freepbx 17 and asterisk 20 from tarballs finally success. problem is no outgoing caller id, says “private number” trunk is set to force id, outgoing route and extensions configured, no luck, any suggestions?
Did you enter your Caller-ID in the field outbound-caller-id in the trunk settings? Format is correct? You can set it to allow-any-CID. We are peaceful people, we don’t force anybody/thing 
What does the setting Send-RPID/PAI say?

yes, pbx is configured properly, noticed same problem with freepbx 16, i have been running freepbx 13 for 6years no problem. where do i find Send-RPID/PAI?

send PAI/RPID is set to no
send private callerid information set to no
Well, that explains it…try "send P-asserted identity header…and you could also switch trust-rpid-pai to on…
EDIT: the private-caller-id setting is no…thats ok
