Newbie installation help please

k im just totally lost with my install

im using cisco 1740 phones flashed with P0S3-08-2-00 SIP firmware.

I created the extensions and manually set the phones tothe extensions and to the correct proxy

i have 5 phone I tried to set up and only maybe 2 seem to work correctly yet all have the same settings with exception to the extensions…

some phones i can get into mailboxes, some phones can call from one extension to another extension.

i just cant seem to find out why all the phones cant communicate with eachother…

anyone can give me some insite and let me know what i might be over looking here
