New Upgrade Scripts

I have just published upgrade scripts for Asterisk 1.8.14 and 10.6.

For Asterisk 1.8 Stable releases upgrade scripts please see http://www.freepbx.org/forum/freepbx-distro/distro-discussion-help/stable-release-versions

For Asterisk 10 Beta release upgrade scripts please see http://www.freepbx.org/forum/freepbx-distro/distro-discussion-help/beta-release-versions-for-distro

As always let me know of any issues.

I have the new ISO’s built just testing the install and than will push them later tonight to the mirrors.

and now there is a new one … … you guys are on the ball for sure.
Only problem is that the link seems to be down.
Will check back later.
Thanks again.

Any idea where we can see changelogs for what the updates actually do?

I always define what I am upgrading. This is just asterisk 1.8.14 as it says. So you can look at asterisk.org for their change log.

yes should be online shortly

Any idea when the updates will be back online?

They should be up already

Im still getting the same errors when I try to update.

[root@asterisk ~]# yum update
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, kmod
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
YumRepo Error: All mirror URLs are not using ftp, http[s] or file.
Eg. /
removing mirrorlist with no valid mirrors: /var/cache/yum/addons/mirrorlist.txt
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: addons
[root@asterisk ~]#

Me too. Repo has been unavailable all day here in the UK.

I am able to finish my install!!! Thank guys!!

That is because everyone kept saying the update site was down but it was the repo site for yum was having dns issues

Can someone set me strait. What is the difference between the yum updates and the distro update scripts. I have been doing the distro scripts and thought that updated all the packages installed (that came with the distro). I figured I do a yum today just for kicks. Yum had another 14 updates after the latest stable script.

Hi, Where are the script updates? I need to update 2.9 to 2.10 and the link has not worked at least since yesterday.
Thank you.
