I’m new to the asterisk and linux world. I want to evaluate FreePBX as a possible replacement to our out of date digital Mitel 5000 system. I bought a HP ML110 G7 tower server off newegg.com for $500 to begin testing FreePBX and learning the system. I downloaded the latest Distro ISO and installed the software on the server. When i visit the administration web page none of the graphics show up correctly and anytime I click on anything I get redirected to the login page. I found several forum posts that have recommended running the following command: chown asterisk /var/lib/php/session
This did not resolve the situation.
I installed freepbx on a VM and I’m not experiencing any of the issues. What could be an issue with the HP hardware that would cause the website to not load properly?
