@lgaetz do you know what is happening with the thread below? I have not observed this before.

I noticed this thread was locked without any information (usually shows who locked it or if it was automatic, if it is done by a mod usually there is a written explanation).

Additionally, @robertkwild opened a new thread, but it was locked and moved into the already locked existing thread.

I merged Robert’s post into the exiting thread this morning.

But why is the existing thread locked without any information (usually shows who locked it and a note from a mod if done manually)?

Doesn’t it defeat the purpose of Robert starting a discussion to move his inquiry into a related, but locked thread? No one can further contribute to the discussion.
