Yes I did update the whole system.
I also had to create /dev/dahdi/ctl
This is the FreePBX forum, you already asked the question in the trixbox forum. Neither are the right place. Have you thought about going to the AsteriskNow page at the Digium support site?
I am sorry this is my first time posting in this forum. May I ask where does freepbx forum was for trixbox?
I am sorry, I had two Windows open. This is the FreePBX forum, Asterisk Now is built by Digium and they have their own support forums.
Clearly by your error DAHDI is not running.
Your handle in the forum is NW Ohio, is your business based in NW Ohio? I have an office in Lorain county and can perhaps help you.
yes im in nw ohio but what you talking about help like paid help or is it free help?
No we don’t work for free but I do have tech’s that can get you up and running.
then I am sorry I dont want to pay for something I can get free help on and be able to fix myself. You shouldnt be offering services if you cant post it if the help was free or paid.
I assumed you had a business down.
If I knew what was wrong I would tell you. I know that creating a system run file is not the answer.
Somehow your DAHDI has gotten hosed.
You did not tell us how you installed the system, what versions or provided any log excerpts when you try and start DAHDI.
I was simply trying to get your business backup quickly.
Well the setup was installed off of asterisknow iso that I burned onto a cd-r and I havent looked at any logs when I tried to start DAHDI.
