Need help with system recordings

Hello,

I am running asterisk server 2.0.0 with the FreePBX GUI 2.10.
When I try to upload a sound file, 16bit 8000hz PCM encoded, I have to wait for the page to be reloaded, but when it’s reloaded nothing has happened.

Anyone knows what this problem could be?

If you are 100% certain the file is properly encoded, you could check that the file/directory permissions are correct on the sounds and sounds/custom folders.

You need to check that the file was upload to var/lib/asterisk/sounds/custom

then watch the log to see if playing.
