Hi, so with iptables stopped and firewall off. For i dont know what reason when i connect to an extension with any softphone my VPS (debian12, FreePBX17) will just die and stop working for ever untill i rebuild it. I dont know why, could be my VPS provider, im lost right now.
Does your VPS provider offer console access? If so, can you log in as root and see what is going on?
Do they offer snapshots? If so, can you take one before the registration attempt and restore after the problem occurs?
I just realized i can get access to console from VPS provider haha. I thoguht they didnt offer console access.
Doesnt say too much, can ping anywhere but my IPV4 ip. no firewall or iptables logs since that service are stop. What should i check?
Only mi ip get blocked, i do can access my self from my phone or oder ip.
Edit 2 haha: just realised is fucking failed2ban idk why it ban my ip, but it does.
Still getting 401, when trying to connect to extension from softphones.
Some devices can’t handle long passwords or special characters. Make up a password consisting of no more than 15 letters and digits. Paste it into both Secret for the extension and password for the softphone.
If you still have trouble, turn on pjsip logger and post the output for a failing registration attempt.
