Muting DTMF tones when inside a confbridge conference

Hello,

Currently I’m using the latest FreePBX and Asterisk 1.8.14.1 on CentOS 6.3 x64
I am using Confbridge instead of meetme for my conferences.
However I have searched high and low and I cant seem to find a way to mute not only the users mic but also mute the dtmf so that if a user accidentally presses a button everyone doesn’t hear the tone. currently the users mics are muted but I cannot see how to mute the dtmf tones. I do not need users or admins to use dtmf once in the conference. all the dtmf is done prior to entering the conference.
Any ideas gentlemen?

If they are sip phones, don’t use inband dtmf signalling, don’t use inband on the asterisk box either.
