I installed an asterisk-freepbx system and the users hated the default on hold music in fact everyone does. 
(I don’t understand why people complain about a free lunch)
Anyway I’ve uploaded a couple mp3 files to play as music all free use stuff. The music is choppy sometimes with the mp3 files I try and use. the default music works fine. I’ve tried different files but always get the same thing.
I thought it was a bandwidth and CPU issue, but both seam to be more than enough so I am thinking its something else.
Is this an audio quality issue or a configuration issue?
Do I need to redo the sample rate of the mp3 files?
What things could I check or do to solve this issue?
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful!
