Can anyone recommend software that i can use to monitor my network? I’m looking to monitor jitter and voice quality.
Paessler has a nice voice plug in for it’s network tool.
One of the tools I use is pingplotter pro. Works good for monitoring/comparing several servers at the same time. Very simple to use, can monitor/compare multiple servers and good for jitter.
From command line you can use “mtr” which basically combines traceroute and ping. From Winbloz command line you can use “pathping” although it’s not as good as mtr.
Is there a way to use SNMP with freepbx?
FreePBX itself would not have anything to report via SNMP.
Asterisk has a complete MIB.
You aren’t going to get jitter and MOS stats out of SNMP.
