I currently setup a live stream for our MOH, I have noticed that it disconnects the following day. I am wondering why? The inbound routes are on a time conditions, the destination is set to Queues. I have to go back to settings > On Hold Music - Steaming-hold to save the settings again for the live music to go back each day.
I am also having similar issue (streaming hold music dies on PBX, the stream source is and stream to other boxes confirmed fine), though not daily. Maybe worth opening a bug report if you are serious about wanting it fixed.

Many ‘streams’ will limit connections by time for their own protection. To further debug, set up your own stream (easy with ffmpeg or vlc) and see if connections to that are dropped.
