Are the file permissions on the config file adequate? Check
permissions and ownership.

Hi,
I’m attempting to get FreePBX 2.1.3 working on a 1and1 dedicated server running Fedora Core 4.
I’ve come across several dependancy problems but I think I am nearly there now.
At present when I start amportal I see:-
Asterisk Ready.
Asterisk Started
STARTING FOP SERVER
safe_opserver: no process killed
The FOP’s server (op_server.pl) could not start!
Please correct this problem
I have no idea why that is happening?
When I navigate to freepbx and click on the link for admin I see:-
Missing or unreadable config file (/etc/amportal.conf)…cannot continue
This file does exisit and seems to be configured properly.
One thing I am unsure of, how do I force a re-install of FreePBX.
I notice if I run the script again it does not ask me for the paths, usernames etc? Is there some kind of removal, and start again procedure?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
