Migrating Speed dial lists onto FreePBX

Hello everyone

Having been in the “PBX” installation trade for many years, I was wondering if it was possible or if a guide exists to show how to import a customers speed dial list from their current PBX onto the FreePBX system.

I understand that adding numbers one at a time is done via “Contact Manager”. Is there a file from within CLI can I can modifiy instead?.

Admin → Bulk Handler, you can import contacts from there using csv. Create a contact first, and export it to csv, that will provide a template you can use for the import.
