Manually program a key S705

Hi All,
On the s series phones, should the user be able to press and hold a spare programable key to manually program the phone? I have an s705 here on the desk that I want to send out to a customer, but I know he will want to program in some speed dial keys without going through a web interface.
This is not going on a freepbx but as the phone has both wifi and bluetooth was the phone to fit his requirement on the system he does have, so I cant use endpoint manager.

I think your question answer is UCP for EPM
Pls check below wiki and your remote user can be edit/customise side car buttons via UCP panel.

As I originally posted, this phone is not going on freepbx so I cant use endpoint manager.
This is a question about the ability to manually program the keys on the phone.
