Make outgoing calls by eliminating two-step dialing

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum.
I have installed and configured FreePBX + HT813, with the purpose of blocking incoming calls.
Everything works, but I have a big problem that I can’t solve.
For outgoing calls, I am forced to dial in the phones first the 5000 (gateway of HT813) and then the outgoing number.
I would very much like to eliminate this “boredom” and have the outgoing number dialed and routed to the gateway without dialing 5000 (which is not an area code).
I have done endless trials, all of which have failed. Has anyone been able to solve this problem?
I thank you in advance for your time and send you pictures of my configurations…

A doubt came to my mind: to solve this problem, is it essential to purchase the paid plan of FreePBX?
Or is the free version I am currently using sufficient?

The free version is fine. Although you posted lots of settings, some of the relevant ones are missing, so I’ll start with a few things to check. If you still have trouble, at the Asterisk command prompt, type
pjsip set logger on
make a failing outgoing call (using a working extension other than the HT FXS port), paste the Asterisk log for the call at pastebin.com and post the link here. Also post what you hear.

  1. On the FXO page, Stage Method should be 1
  2. Set Dial Plan to { [*x]+ }
  3. Set DTMF Digit Length and DTMF Dial Pause to 100
  4. Set Wait for Dial Tone to No.
  5. Set Min Delay Before Dial PSTN Number to 1000

These are conservative settings. Once you get it working you can try lower numbers to speed up dialing.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the valuable information, which was decisive.
I had been unable to solve it for several weeks. The problem really depended on the FXO settings of HT813 that you mentioned: mine were set all backwards.
I set the 5 points as you suggested…

I tried making an outgoing call without dialing 5000 and everything worked perfectly!!!
Yes, maybe the analog cordless phone dialing times are now slightly long, but I think I’ll solve that by decreasing the numbers as you suggested.
In any case, I am really happy and thank you again. Happy continuation and happy holidays to all!!!
