Long Distance With a Calling Card

Hello

Has anyone had experience setting up a specific outbound route that accesses a calling card? For example if I dialed 011 44 12345678 I’d like the system to out-dial 123-456-7890 (calling card number) + YYY YYY YYYY(pin number) + 011 44 12345678. Is this possible?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi!

Maybe I am misunderstanding the problem but it sounds like an outbound route with a dial pattern which has a match pattern of 014412345678 and a prepend of 234567890YYYYYYYYYY that you would send to your favorite trunk…

What it would end up dialing is 234567890YYYYYYYYYY014412345678…

Now would that actually work, maybe not… I assume pauses might be needed somewhere in there, no?

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

Chances are your best bet might be to listen to @lgaetz wise words

If the other solution didn’t work I was thinking of something hooking on macro-dialout-trunk-predial-hook but Lorne’s solution (if it works as intended) is much simpler and cleaner…

Good luck and have a nice day!

Nick

PS: Sorry for the reference to the other forum. I know things have not been entirely smooth between them and FreePBX/Schmooze/Sangoma but is it better to act as if they did not exist?

Thanks Nick for the suggestions. I will look into them.

Have a great day.

Michael
