Logs flooded - "chan_sip.c: Serious Network Trouble; __sip_xmit returns error for pkt data"

Hi Everyone,

My logs seem to keep getting flooded (and I mean crazy flooded - ~15 seconds apart) with these error messages. Is there an easy way to find out a) the IP address of the endpoint that is responsible? abd b) the actual problem with the data?

If i block ALL endpoints from connecting to the PBX then the messages go away. So I;m thinking there must be some endpoint that is either 1) sending junk packets or 2) misconfigured and isn’t handling some of the SIP messages properly.

I’ve seen this before when Asterisk can’t determine what the internal and external networks are. Have you entered that information in Settings > Asterisk SIP Settings?

There are likely other causes I’m not thinking of at the moment, but that’s a start since no one else has replied yet.
