Setting up my FreePbx in the DNS tab it (and the wiki) mentions listing the local Host 127.0.0.1 first which will keep sip extensions going even if wan goes down.
I put it in the list on top of my cable provider DNS’s, but the next day all I only my cable providers DNS’s again. The local Host DNS IP seems to ‘disappear’.
Seems I have to set DHCP to static.
Or add 127.0.0.1 to the DHCP entry in your DNS.
