List of Voice Prompts

Hi…

I am new to FreePBX and so far, I only have one question. Is there a list of voice prompts and the location of the actual files that are used? I absolutely hate the voice that is on there (it sounds so canned yet I know it is a real person)

I would like to have my own voiceover talent record everything on my syetem! The $64,000 question is can this be done?

Any advice?

The sound files can be found on your system in the /var/lib/asterisk/sounds directory.

You can certainly replace all the sound files, but in my opinion it would take a lot of energy (time and money) to duplicate what’s already been created.
