LDAP advice create an extension if user belongs to a security group

Hi I’m utilising LDAP to manager users, it’s connected no problem and has synced all users into user manager users, however I wanted to only sync the users that I had made a member of a security group in AD which will be called PBXUsers. Should I be looking at the user group attribute or user object filter fields?

Thanks in advance

Hi @alanbaker
Pls try to check this wiki link i hope to give you some idea.

Thanks.

Thanks for that article, I have achieved all that already, I just want to tailor the solution so that the user needs to be a member of a security group to be imported to FreePBX.

This article helped me when I set up AD with Freepbx. https://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FPG/User+Management+with+Active+Directory

I used the User object filter: (&(objectCategory=Person)(sAMAccountName=*) (memberOf=CN=freepbx,OU=Groups,DC=Domain))

Then added all the users to freepbx group.

Great Thanks, that works!
