due to the recent fires in california i had to manually shutdown some of sites while leaving others open. since i have 12 different sites where people call in constantly i was wondering if there was an easy way to ‘turn a site off’ preferably at the IVR level. what i ended up doing is changing the inbound route to route to a service we use for afterhours, this didnt work well since theres multiple way to get to that location in the system, so it would be best if i can a IVR to forward all calls and then an easy way to disable that, im really looking for a toggle of some sort with the possibility of setting a feature code in the future.
You’re probably looking for a Call Flow Control under Applications > Call Flow Control. This is a feature code that essentially is a “if on, route this way, if off, route this other way”
If you want a user to control it, you can program a button on the phone for the feature code of the call flow control that you create.
