Is Polycom multicast paging really proprietary?

Potential customer has 37 Polycom phones and would be adding 60-70 SIP/multicast devices. I’m trying to get one of the Polycoms to play multicast pages and having no luck at all. Rather than go into the details of what the Polycom interface looks like, I’ll just ask if anyone has experience getting this to work in an environment of mixed device types. If yes, how did you get it work?

What I’m seeing elsewhere in the forums is old and discouraging, so I’m hopeful someone has figured it out.

Sorry, I don’t know whether software is available to convert between this and standard multicast, though it shouldn’t be hard to write a script to do that.
