I brought this up some time ago but was never able to get anywhere with it, I’m asking again now that I have more information.
Our extension range is 7xxx. Instead of getting a reorder, I’d like to have all invalid extensions dialed (from the inside) to be routed to a number not in service announcement.
Is there a way to set this up using the FreePBX GUI?

Make an outbound route matching your internal dial plan. Internal numbers will be matched first; if the internal number doesn’t exist, it will use the outbound route.
Outbound route dial pattern = 7XXX
Trunks = don’t select any
Destination on congestion = Terminate Call / Play No Service Message
