Interupt announcement to redirect to extension?

A user has asked if they can be contacted directly (without using a DID)

Is it possible to interupt an announcement (eg using *) then enter an extension number to call directly? If no interruption then it will continue as normal.

Any pointers / guides would be most helpful.



There already is a “Enable Direct Dial” checkbox in the IVR settings that once checked off does this.
