Installation mariasq

Hi there I am doing a clean install on a Raspberry Pi and the UCP Daemon is failing to start.
This is caused by the missing npm module mariasql.
Unfortunately if I try and install it it is not compiling and it looks like it is not maintained - people recommend mariadb in its place.

Any ideas how I can move forwards?

The UCP module installs and runs under FreePBX 15 and 16 with:

[UCP blows up under FreePBX 17 with an undefined variable error.]
