Hi, i’m new to FreePBX but quite familiar with Asterisk, i wanted to try out FreePBX at work but all our internet connections have to go via a proxy server, i cannot seem to find a way to get the installer to work via a proxy server? Is there a way?

Hi, I found that the following worked for me:
When the installation fails, use the CTRL-ALT-F1 key combination and log in with root. Add your proxy to the /etc/profile file as you would for system wide proxy access. Log out and log back in again and them run /etc/pbx_first_boot.sh as the root user. You may also need to add the proxy to the wget and yum config files.
