Instabilty - PJSIP trunk connections

Dear friends, i´m experiencing a problem here:

I have an optical fiber Dynamic DNS connection that arrives in my office. My PBX is directly connected to its Modem switch. Everydays, after 6pm, when we close the company, as a fire protection, everything are turned off, including the general electric switch. Yesterday, after adding 2 sip trunks to Freepbx, they were working perfectly, we could make and receive calls. Today both trunks are not registering any more. I also tried resting GPON modem / Freepbx and ATAs with no success. What could be happening to my system? Do I have to open any port in my modem? If yes, what ports should be? 5060/UDP? 1000-2000/UDP?
As i could see in log, PJSIP connections are not happening

Could please someone help me? I understand that its a “gerneric” problem that should have many different causes but i would be so happy if someone could help me!

There’s no response from your provider. That is either due to them not sending a response or your firewall dropping/not routing the response properly.

For the record, powering everything on/off daily is a poor fire prevention step. The constant power cycling of certain devices can have a negative impact. It raises risks of issues and the powering up of a system is the most intensive part and can put more “wear and tear” on them than needed.

Oh and you also risk settings that may or may not have been saved properly being completely cleared out because of the power cycle.

I really agree with you about the poor fire prevention, but my boss is 67 years old and i´m unable to change his mind, loool … It´s not easy to shutdown everything, everyday… In my opinion, a good prevention is regular and good maintaince. About the trunks … I really don´t know what could be happening… I tried turning off firewall and also intrusion detection. It did not work.

I tried SSH connecting to FreePbx and pinging sip.zadarma.com and also sip.calleasy.com - both providers are reached from freepbx.

Yesterday i have made some modules updates, i guess it could be damaged something… I will now try deleting the trunks and adding again as a trial to solve it. I will describe soon the results here.

After many trials i found the problem. There was a lack of config in my Mitrastar ONT modem. As a trial, i have set my Freepbx IP in DMZ mode. After doing this procedure all SIP trunks have been suddenly registered. After that, i removed DMZ mode and setted up manually traffic ports 4569UDP/5060UDP/10000-20000UDP. It´s working fine now.
