Incremental ring group

Hello everybody
Is there a way to add extension ringing or other tasks after a specified amount of time.
Now I’m getting this behavior creating different ring groups with more and more extensions. For example ring group 6001 with extension 7001 only, ring group 6002 with extension 7001 and 7002, ring group 6003 with extensions 6001, 6002 and 6003, and so on. When a call arrives, it goes to ring group 6001 with ring time of 10s, then the destination on no answer is set to ring group 6002, with ring time of 10s, then the destination on no answer is set to ring group 6003, with ring time of 300s. Everything works fine except that when the call goes from one group to another one, extension 7001 stops ringing and then starts again (of course, from the extension point of of view they’re two different calls). I wonder if there’s the possibility to route in someway the incoming call to extension 7001, then after 10s if nobody answers, add extension 7002 to the ringing extensions while keeping extension 7001 ringing and so on.
And if I want that the call is routed to a welcome message while still ringing extension 7001? I mean when a call arrives it’s routed to extension 7001, then after 10s the pbx answers it and plays a welcome message and then routes it to extensions 7002 and 7003 while still ringing extension 7001?
Thank you

Check out this solution. I believe you won’t hear the ringing stop and start like you will with the staggered ring groups you described.

That’s a great advice. I’ll try it soon.
What about the “incremental” ring group plus welcome message after a while?

Wouldn’t the ring strategy memoryhunt work for this?
