Inbound Route Not Recording Voicemails

I am in the process of switching over to FreePBX 17.0.19.1 (from Free PBX 16). I am configuring a completely new server so that I can basically swap the two once I am finished configuring and testing the new FreePBX 17.0.19.1.

My issue is that the inbound trunk will not record any calls that go to voicemail even though it is set to “force” call recording. For what it’s worth, the inbound route will record all calls that are answered.

I have 5 extensions on the FreePBX 16 and they all record all incoming calls that are answered and the ones that go to voicemail. How do I get the FreePBX 17.0.19.1 to record all incoming calls (answered and ones sent to voicemail) when I seem to have all the settings the same as on my FreePBX 16?

Anyone encountered this and the setting(s) I need to change to make it record all incoming calls that are answered and the ones sent to voicemail on all extensions?

Read the tool tip for Settings → Advanced Settings → Call Record Option. Toggling this will prob resolve for you.

Thanks Lorne, that actually worked but now for some reason when I go to the CDR reports to play the recording it shows up twice. My FreePBX 16 system does not do that. Any idea how to make the system only store one recording?
