Inbound DID Call from Second SIP Trunk Failing

I currently have a FreePBX server in our main office that’s been running without issue for the last 5-years. The original setup successfully utilizes a handful of DID numbers without issue.

Yesterday we added a second SIP trunk (from a closed office) to our original configuration. Both SIP trunks are from Sangoma (previously Digium).

For some reason, inbound calls to the DID numbers attached to the second SIP trunk fail. The assigned extension receives 1/2 ring and the call terminates.

1 - If the extension is put on DND - the call will successfully flow through to Voice Mail.

2 - If the DID is assigned to an IVR Tree - everything works fine - can even dial the extension through the menu and connect!

3 - We can successfully place outbound calls through this trunk without issue.

For troubleshooting purposes I have tried to route the DID based on digits sent by the provider and by incoming Caller ID - both fail.

I’ve been on the phone with Samgona SIP support this morning and they say the trunk is configured correctly and is sending the correct digits - which I can see/confirm using SNGREP

So what am I missing here?? Seems like it should be something simple!

Thanks in advance!

Howdy! Welcome to the forums!

What version of FreePBX are you using ?

Are you able to work around the issue by playing back some “silent” audio Announcement at the start of the call ?
