Inbound calls

Hello,

I have a call forward on a extension and it works perfectly but if the inbound call is private (has caller id turned off) the call doesn’t forward it goes straight to voicemail.

If you don’t care about preserving the caller ID of the original caller (when onymous), try setting CID Options for the trunk to Block Foreign CIDs.

Otherwise, see Hooking for fun and income and set up a hook that checks for anonymous and substitutes your main company number (or other valid placeholder).

Possibly, your provider allows you to send anonymous calls and you can arrange the hook to send the format they require.
