Im dying to know why im having echo in my calls!

hi , im suffering from echo from alog time ago.

im suffering from random echo calls reioccurs during calls.
i couldnt register any echo during internal calls .
most of echo occurs when external calls dial our numbers.
what could the problem of echo ???
some times the echo is acceptable and some times the echo can be annoying .

another information:
i have 6 dadhi lines , one for fax , and i could hear the echo at all of my dadhi lines .

in my network:
using mix of yeahlink t28 phones , grandstream 2110 hardphones
, softphones using zoiper software. both “upgraded for the last firmware” ,and one ATA adapter .

im using switch netgear and cisco linksys router.

wish this info help to determine the main reson of this issue

Echo on analog lines is caused by impedance mismatches.

You need to use fxotune utility to set levels on trunks.

and are you sure that this is an analog line mismatch issue?

Suggest you read the DAHDI manual and google fxotune. You can’t seriously expect me to regurgitate the manual.

Echo on analog lines is caused by mismatch.

You might have better luck asking this on the Elastix fourms. It looks by the picture that you provided that you can configure it in the utility. Also look in the forums over at asterisk.org. Good Luck
