Subject: Help Needed - Inbound Route Disconnects Immediately

Hello everyone,
I need some help setting up incoming calls in FreePBX.

I have a VoIP number registered and working with my provider (Pelinumber).
I created an Inbound Route that sends calls directly to Extension 1041.
The problem is that when I call the number, the call immediately disconnects — there’s no ringing, no IVR, nothing.

Here’s what I have checked so far:

  • The trunk is registered and shows “Available.”
  • The Inbound Route is correctly set to match the DID and send it to Extension 1041.
  • The extension 1041 is online and reachable internally.
  • There are no IVRs or Time Conditions currently active.

I would appreciate if someone could help me figure out what’s missing or wrong.
Thanks in advance!

Is your FreePBX on the cloud or a physical device ? Is it behind a firewall ?

What, if anything, appears in the Asterisk log when an inbound call is attempted?

If nothing, run sngrep and report what, if anything, appears there when an inbound call is attempted.

If also nothing, describe all networking hardware/software between the internet and your PBX (ISP modem/gateway, router/firewall make/model, virtualization if any, etc.)

The call reaches the server, but the trunk and the extension are set as disabled — that’s probably why the calls are getting disconnected. I configured everything like ChatGPT told me to. Why are they disabled? For example, I know that the provider works with IP, so there’s no need to set a username and password and all that.
