The backup and restore feature of FreePBX 16 can handle backup files going back quite far. You’ll just need to try and create a backup and restore to a test on a system after you install FreePBX 16 on it.

There will be no way to upgrade it. If you have the freepbx backup module installed, you should be able to get the version with some variation of this

You should be able to restore a backup made on freepbx 2.9+ on a current 16 install.

System requirements depend on your call volume. Nobody will be able to give you exact requirements for your situation. You’ll just have to test in your environment.

There are plenty of screenshots and videos online showing the GUI of FreePBX 16 so you can do your own comparisons.

The push notifications will depend on the app that you are using. The Sangoma Talk app works great for us on our phones.
