How to transfer incoming calls to another extension?

Hi everyone…

I am having problem with this call transfer thingie.
I can’t call transfer period. I can have conference call but can’t transfer.
I have been using the VOIP phones that have a transfer button.
I can only put each party on hold and speak to the caller and the person I called separately. But I want to transfer my caller to the person I called and let them continue their conversation while I hangup.
Can this be done?

make sure that the extension you want to transfer to is in your phone’s dialplan.

just saw a system tonight that didn’t. They could transfers calls to any number in the world except one of their own extensions!

You can also make sure # to transfer is enabled in the general settings tab of freepbx, and try it that way, too.
