How to set a maximum message duration for voicemail?

Hello all !

I would like to set a maximum message length for an extension’s voicemail (could be a default value for all extensions).

Thanks a lot for any hint on where to set this !

edit the

etc/asterisk/vm_general.inc

Look for the line that says
maxmessage=180

and change that to however many seconds you want the default for all extensions to be.
