How to register a SIP URL in a ring group?

Hello everybody,

It is probably a very easy question…

I would like to add a sip url in a ring group (like [email protected]) . But freepbx accept only number.
I would like also to create a kind of short number like *01 to call this sip url from any normal phone.

Any idea how to procede ?

Create a new extension of type custom. For the dial string on the advanced tab use:

sip/[email protected]
