How to install language prompts?

Hello

in all settings i put fr in language code but all prompts are in english.

How can i check if i have french language installed ? and how to install it ?

I needed to do the same for Spanish to accommodate an install in my Mexico plant.

I downloaded the language files from http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/sounds/ and then copied them to the server /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/es (you would use the French code there). I then mimicked all file permissions to match /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/es.

From the web interface I went to Settings -> Asterisk SIP Settings and set Language to es. I restarted asterisk and now have Spanish language.
