hello I have done the IVR configuration and when a person makes an incoming call they are asked to press such and such a key depending on the service and it will see the extension or extensions concerned ring… I would like to know is that it is possible that once a person is making an incoming call and that call has been answered by an operator who has extension 1000 for example… Can this operator transfer the call to another operator without having to cut the line. If so, how to do it
You mean to say that you want a con call between the caller and both the operators ?
yes … the first operator takes the call and passes this call to the second
Admin->feature codes-> in-call transfer (attended or blind)
dial *6 for attended, ** for blind transfers , (of course you need to dial the intended endpoint after those codes)
You shouldn’t need any of these keys, if the transferring operator is using an IP deskphone. There should be a physical Transfer button, or a Transfer softkey.
Most softphones also have a transfer function.
What device(s) are you using?
Don’t these keys have to be “programmed” on the phone first before they work?
They are either dedicated keys or are included in the out of the box configuration.
No they will be available by default on most phones what brand and model you are using ?
I’m not the one with the original request. But I use a mix of Polys and Yealink. Prefer the Yealinks for ease of configuration
