We have a freight entrance and it has a phone for delivery people to call. The phone is limited (via Extension Routes) from dialing outside. However, we want it to call ring group that the main line is directed to so it rings several potential locations. Is there a way to set up a call to go directly to the ring group? Or will a call to the main number do that?
Some sip phones have a “hotline” or “ringdown” feature that causes them to dial a given number as soon as they go off hook. Otherwise just post a notice asking people to dial the DN of the ring group in question.
Each Ring Group has a number. They can just dial that number.
