How to "copy" config between two FreePBX 17 instances?

Hello,

I’ve got two FreePBX instances on two different VM guests (one on a VMWare host, one on a Libvirt). Both instances runs on Debian 12 with latest FreePBX 17.

What is the simplest or most efficient method to “copy” the FreePBX config from the development host to the production one ? Should I use Backup/Restore app for this ?

By “FreePBX config”, I imply the list of Extensions, Misc destinations, Systems Recordings and all things which take time to edit with a GUI.

Any recommandation ?

Best regards

AWS S3 and Filestore pointing at the same bucket from both. Backup on one and Restore it on the other. You can practice this with just one module before doing everything. Then go through updating any config that perhaps didn’t come over cleanly, such as the IP address in Asterisk SIP Settings.

Thanks for replying !

I’ll try this ASAP.

Filestore is a FreePBX module, in case that wasn’t clear. There is a template for AWS S3.
