We have one of our phones in a shared office. I have two different extensions ringing to that phone. Is there a way that a user can set the DND for extension 1 but not extension 2 and vice-versa? Same with the Follow-me and other settings
Off the top of my head it would be through the UCP. Pretty sure there isn’t a native way to do it through feature codes.
assuming there are different ext buttons on the phone, couldn’t one punch that “line” key and then put in the DND code for that line? I think I have done that in another life ;)) The trick is to remember which line is doing what, when!
If there is a set schedule for the shared office, you can use cron to turn on and off the DND for each extension
