by pressing it - if you haven’t done anything that really changes the system then there is no harm done. If you have done changes, you may actually be in a semi unstable state depending on what changes you made, since unfortunately there are some modules that end up making changes to the system that can effect its operation prior to Applying Configuration Changes. (which is not a good thing, but is today’s reality).
