After installing asterisk and installing freepbx, when I access freepbx via the web, the menus don’t come up at all.
Only 3 submenus of applications are shown, call Recording/conferences/extensions
and other menus appear in other videos. If I install all-in-one, will they all come up, and if I install them separately, will they not come up?
How do I activate the menus?
From the command line, run
fwconsole ma installall
After fwconsole ma installall, a few more menus were created.

unless you are installing on a supported OS, then you will see these failures which are all related to commercial modules.
freepbx moduleadmin delete nnn
where nnn is everyone complaining one by one.
Are you saying that it can’t be installed because it’s not commercial?
Is the currently installed menu a free menu to use?
No , I don’t know how you installed FreePBX but if you don’t run on a supported platform . . .
The over-arching ‘menu’ is Framework, which is open-source and I assume still working.
fwconsole moduleadmin list|grep Commercial
will show modules that need to be deleted, every other (sub)menu should work just fine if installed and enabled.
In the admin-> modules, disable the commercial repo and enable all the others for maximum choices that should work.

And I don’t see a firewall in connectivity.
Is that because I installed it on Ubuntu?
yes , no commercial module support unless you go with FreePBX 17, which has moved to debian 12
Commercial modules are not available on non-official OS
